Step 1: Download and print out your application form

Step 2: Purchase an application ticket on Q-Tickets:

Please purchase an entry ticket on www.q-tickets.com

You will receive a personal code which you have to write down on your application form.

You only need to buy a ticket for each candidate who would like to participate in the competition. If you would like to attend the competition as a listener, admission is free.

Step 3: Email your filled out application form to info@qnmc.org

Please scan the filled out application form and the participants ID and send it to info@qnmc.org

Make sure to submit your application before the deadline.


Notes on completing your Application Form:

  • Entries must be in accordance with the regulations.  If you are unsure whether your entry complies with the regulations, please contact the office by phone or email and we will assist you. Email info@qnmc.org or give us a call at +974 66089033
  • The validity of an entry is entirely the responsibility of the entrant.
  • Where applicable, ages shall be calculated from 15th October 2017.
  • Each ticket is only valid for one entry in one category. If the candidate wants to participate in more than one category, he/she needs to purchase a different ticket for every category.
  • Participants need to fill out a different application form for every category they would like to compete in.
  • For big choirs or ensembles please submit an extra sheet with all the names of the ensemble.

You will receive a confirmation email once your application is accepted. In case you have not received such an email please get in touch with the office.

Notes on stating “own choice” pieces:

Kindly ensure that all spellings of composers’ names and works are correct. The following information must be included:

  • Composer
  • Title of work and (where necessary)…
  • Opus number or any other identifying number
  • Movement(s) to be performed

Examples:  Scarlatti, Sonata in D, K29 L461
Haydn, Sonata in Eb, Hob VVI/49, 1st  movt.
Schumann, Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano in D minor op. 63, 3rd and 4th movts.
